Itty Bitty Me: I was born in New York and have lived in all the northern states of the US. We moved at least once every year. My childhood consisted of the arts, drama, poetry, music and lots and lots of people. My mother is a professional photographer and focuses on portraits. My father was a creative writer.
The Struggle is Real: Creative homes are wonderful and full of life but also volatile at times. There seemed to always be an energy buzzing about the home, some would call it chaos. God plucked me out of this when I was seven and taught me how to love through it all and to forgive quickly and to thrive.
High School: This was the point where I really flourished in the arts-drawing, painting, building sets and occasionally acting.
Love: College is where I found the love of my life and got married. We settled down and had three children, many animals and remodeled two homes. This was also the period where we homeschooled the kids so we could travel and I was able to reach out to the community to help with sets, pageants and parade floats.
23 Years Later: College one more time! At this point we sold our home, moved to LA and I attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising with my daughter. I now have my AA in Interior Design and my BA in Design.
Today: I am here to help- from creative concepts, to ideas for your space, products or productions.
